No one wants to hear that they need to have their wisdom teeth pulled. They associate it with a lot of pain, discomfort and not being able to work or go to school. They also assume that it is something that happens to everyone. That is not always the truth. It is possible that people can see their wisdom teeth grow it without facing any problems.

The Need For Space

The biggest issue that people face when their wisdom teeth begin to grow in is the lack of space in their mouth. Some people think that over time, our mouths have gotten smaller and that is why more people have problems with their wisdom teeth than did many years ago. Whether that is true or not is up for debate, but there are still many people who have enough space to fit their set of adult wisdom teeth.

To determine if you have enough space, you need to check your gums behind you last set of molars. If you feel soft tissue behind your last set of teeth, it is possible that you have enough room for your wisdom teeth to grow in.

Other Problems With Wisdom Teeth

It is possible to check before your wisdom teeth come in to see if you have enough space, but there are other problems that you will not know about until they actually start to grow in. Crooked wisdom teeth are common. They can run into other teeth or they can struggle to fully emerge.

Some people will have teeth that are able to break through the skin. There are still others that have wisdom teeth that suffer from disease before they emerge or shortly after they begin to emerge.

If your wisdom teeth have the room, grow in straight and do not conflict with other teeth and if they do not suffer from any disease or decay, it is possible for them to grow in and not cause any problem. While that may seem like a long list of what its, there are plenty of people who fit into this category.
