Scott M. Redlinger, DMD, MD
Dr. Redlinger is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with a particular interest in wisdom teeth extraction and dental implants. He received his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his Medical degree from the University of Nebraska. He has published numerous articles on Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and enjoys participating in organized dentistry.
Dr. Redlinger was raised in Boulder City, Nevada but fell in love with Reno as a youth on his family’s annual ski trip to Lake Tahoe. When time came to pick colleges it was a natural fit that he would go north and attend University of Nevada, Reno. He returned to Southern Nevada to complete dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After dental school Dr. Redlinger was off to the hearty Midwest where he completed medical school, internship in General Surgery, and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. University of Nebraska’s program was the first dual degree OMFS program in the country.
After completing residency, Dr. Redlinger found himself drawn once again back to Reno and the Truckee Meadows. Dr. Redlinger enjoys practicing full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from dentoalveolar to dental implant surgery. He is proud to be the leader in Technology and advanced Oral Surgery procedures to the Reno-Tahoe area.
