At Reno Tahoe Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center, we want you to feel fully informed about your upcoming procedure, the expected results, and the anticipated recovery time. If you have specific questions, we invite you to contact our office or to schedule a one-on-one consultation. In the meantime, here are answers to a few of the most common queries.

Why Do I Need a Consultation?

This initial meeting allows your doctor an opportunity to evaluate your teeth, gums, and jaw bones, confirming that you are a good candidate for a safe, successful surgery. The consultation is also a chance for us to customize your treatment plan, ensuring we address your functional and aesthetic goals. Additionally, it allows you to ask any questions you may have about the treatment, anesthesia options, aftercare, and more.

How Do I Prepare for My Consultation?

New Patient Paperwork

To ensure the smoothest, most expedient consultation possible, we invite you to complete your new patient paperwork in advance, bringing it with you to our Reno, NV location.

Current List of Medications

Certain medications may interfere with the healing process, raising your risk level during recovery. To advise you on any medications that you need to pause or discontinue, we ask that you bring a current, complete list of medications to your consultation.

Photo Identification

To ensure your safety and the privacy of your confidential data, we ask that you bring a photo ID to your consultation.

Medical and Dental Insurance

We want our services to be as accessible and affordable as can be, which is why we are always happy to help you navigate the medical and dental insurance claims processes.

X-Rays

During your initial consultation, your doctor will review medical images to ensure the best course of treatment. If you have recently been treated by a dentist, orthodontist, or general doctor, ask that your X-rays and scans be sent to our office.
